FUN AND FEATHERS THE HIGHLIGHT OF SPRING CAMP

A few feathered friends visited our campers during this year’s Spring Camp at the Met: Spring Into Nature!

The Fresno Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Service stopped by the camp with five birds in tow. They gave our campers the chance to see the birds of prey first-hand and learn all about how they survive, hunt, eat and breed.

The Fresno Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation service is an all-volunteer organization that cares for injured or orphaned native wildlife. Their educators visit schools and organizations around the Valley to inform the public about the variety of wildlife found in California.

This was an exciting, informative day and a big thank you goes out to everyone who participated!
