INK IT UP AT THE REEVES ASK SCIENCE CENTER!

If you’ve ever been curious about the process of printmaking here’s your chance to get your hands dirty!

One of many exciting hands-on exhibits in the Met's current exhibition, Crossroads, is Ink It Up, an interactive exhibit designed to introduce those of all ages to the practice of printmaking. See the design transform from a block of wood to a beautiful image on paper. Discover tools, materials and the specific process it takes to produce this two-dimensional art form. Watch the wood cuts come to life as you create your own prints at the printmaking station!

Ink It Up provides a hands-on encounter where you touch, view and even smell the various types of wood used. Visitors can further their research in the exhibition's library and art gallery.

Kids will love this experience designed to capture their imagination. It’s just one of the many exciting and educational activities you can do at the Reeves ASK Science Center. Come down and join in the fun today!
