Art Outreach for 1st - 3rd Grade Classes

Are your classes unable to visit the Met? If your school is located within a 10-mile radius of the Museum, docents from the Met will come to your classroom and present an art lesson to students in 1st - 3rd grade classes.

Each inquiry-based lesson is one hour long and features hands-on art instruction. All materials are provided by the Met and there is no cost for the class. Lesson plans related to the Visual and Performing Arts Content Standards are also provided. Please call Ann Wanger at 559-441-1444 for further information and/or to schedule.
