Science of Baseball

This spring and summer (April 14 - August 31), the Met will partner with the Fresno Grizzlies to bring a bit of science to our nation's pastime.

Just inside the main entrance of Grizzlies Stadium, the Met will install exhibits to demonstrate the "sweet spot" of a bat, show the guts of a major league hard ball, illustrate how legal modifications to a bat can achieve nearly the same results as an illegally "corked" bat, challenge fans to test their reaction time, explain why curveballs curve, and much more.

The exhibits can be viewed during Grizzlies' home games with paid admission to the baseball game.
